The Darpan Olympiad conducted the first round of Olympiad exams in the Orion School, which was very enthusiastically participated by the participating students of Std IV and above. The exams have been very well designed and executed that prepares the students for the competitive exams in the years to come and makes them acquainted with the features that enhances their learning and ability. Each such exam written today will help them reach their destiny — better reach their destiny in the coming tomorrow.

Myself, Badal Bhagat, co-ordinator for Mindora Olympiad from Lievens’ School of Excellence. Through this olympiad the children of our school experienced something new which developed a sense of competitive learning. This also helped students test their knowledge and mental ability while fostering patience. Our school is very grateful to the Mindora organisation that they gave a chance to the young minds, and organised this exam in a well-manner. Darpan Olympiad’ is the best platform to enhance and brush up their knowledge and compete with rest of students and their knowledge. In our school, first time students are taking part. All are very much excited to appear in exam. Surely this exam will be very much useful and knowledgeable for them. All important subjects are coming in exam. It is encyclopaedia knowledge for them.

The Darpan Olympiad examination was different from other Olympiads because all subjects were tested in a single paper. In contrast, other Olympiads have separate papers on different days, which is very time-consuming. The questions were good for the children as they were syllabus-related, with 80% from the previous class's syllabus and 20% from the current class's syllabus. This was effective for assessing children's intellectual capacity, as it demonstrated their memory and reasoning skills – how well they've understood or understand concepts. The exam was entirely syllabus-based.
The invigilators who came to conduct the exam were also very punctual; they started and finished the exam on time. All these aspects were well-managed. However, it would have been even better if different sets of questions had been provided for the children and notifying students about the exam two weeks beforehand would be even better, as it would give younger children like in class 1 to 4, sufficient time to prepare.
